I wore this costume of the envelopes of the love letters that were never sent. I also wore wings in which to fly those words never uttered but penned in secret concert with the heart to the hearts that needed them but never admitted to the truth just played it so cool. Romanticism never died it just writes in secret by candle light to a lover which is just a secret self that we need to address. The lover that we desire is in us or as Margaret Cho says " I am the one that I want" isn't it really a contemprary "song to myself" by Walt whitman?
